Was born in the 1960s and got to hear the Beatles song “A hard day’s night” played by a teacher on his guitar in early childhood days on his first ski course. Totally thrilled by this incredible sound his wish for the next Christmas was a Beatles tape. He learned to play the guitar in school, but in his opinion more bad than right. Years later, when the Frank Yonko Band was looking for a bass player, his brother in law - who knew Heinz was musically talented - came over with a bass guitar at Christmas and told him to try to play. After playing a few notes Wolfgang was totally convinced and so he joined the band, although he never felt really comfortable with the instrument. A few years later - after a short illness-related break - he changed the instrument to play the second guitar and from then on he felt he was doing right.
